The PUK and the PDK, on Monday, agreed on continuing of their strategic agreement, they confirmed that the president Talabani used his neutral power and independent towards the issue of withdrawal of confidence from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki.

 
 A member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Fadhil Mirani in a joint press conference with a member of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Mullah Bakhtiar, said that "both parties agreed to continue to work according to strategic agreement that was concluded in 2007 between the two parties."
