The Kurdistan Journalists' Syndicate in Arbil, on Tuesday, declared for the registration of forty-three cases of violations against journalists in the region during the past six months, calling on the Interior Ministry and the concerned authorities in the provincial government to work to stop these violations.

 The Chairman of the Committee for Defense of press freedom and human rights in the Kurdistan Journalists' Syndicate  (Anwar Hussain) told a news conference held by the union in Arbil, the committee recorded during the six months the past twenty-two cases of assault on Journalists, seven cases were assault and two cases of fines against journalists.
