According to local press reports that only 3% of the budget of the province has been allocated for the new projects.

 The reports added that the budget for the province for this year amounted to fifteen trillion and two hundred and forty-five billion dinars, and the operational budget of which amounted to more than ten trillion dinars, while devoted four and a half trillion dinars for investment projects, noting that the share of ongoing projects of the investment share of more than three trillion dinars, while new projects had not been proposed by more than four hundred billion dinars, the equivalent of two point six percent of the general budget of the province for the current year two thousand and twelve.
