The Secretary General of the Islamic Association of Kurdistan (Mr. Mohammed Faraj), and the presence of his deputy, Dr. (Salah al-Din Babiker), and a number of members of the Politburo, received a delegation of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan, which included Messrs. Deputy Secretary-General, Dr (Barham Ahmad Saleh) and (Saadi Ahmed Pira) and (Azad Jundiyani) members of the Political Bureau of the Union.

During the meeting, the guest delegation congratulated the Secretary-General on the occasion of the end of the Sixth Conference, and his election as general secretary of the party.

The two sides also addressed the current political situation in the region and Iraq, stressing at the same time on consolidating the bilateral relations between them and the organization of the Kurdish House, and face the challenges as a team.
