KURDIU (Sulaimani): A member of the Council of the province of Sulaymaniyah, from the list of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (Mohammad Hussein) during his speech to KurdIU,revealed attempts to marginalize the role of provincial authorities, noting that provincial councils has suffered paralysis.

 The member of the Council pointed to not convinced the authorities of Kurdistan Region for decentralization, pointing out that the postponement of provincial elections for the times proves that the reasons for the delay is not technical but political.

 As pointed Mohamed Hussein that there are other reasons behind the postponement of the elections, referring to the political crises in Iraq, and rising popular opposition, especially the province of Sulaimaniyah.
