A source in the Commission on the reforms of the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region, on Monday, that three officials behind the importation of counterfeit medicines to the Region, indicating that the process of importing counterfeit drugs will not end unless they are punished, according to the newspaper Rudaw.

 The newspaper quoted from the source of the Committee on reforms of the Presidency of the Kurdistan Region as saying that "there are three officials were behind the importation of counterfeit medicines to the region, adding that the import of counterfeit medicines will continue unless they are punished.

 The source pointed out that even the procedures in the field of medicine is very weak, where the court imposes a fine of one hundred and fifty thousand Iraqi dinars only, on the person who committed this large crime .
