A member of the Political Bureau of the Kurdistan Islamic Union (Mawlud  Bawa Murad) believes  that the power in Iraq is moving toward dictatorship, noting at the same time there are attempts to marginalize the role of political parties.

 Bawa Murad during his interview with the newspaper (Yakgirtu) which belong to the Kurdistan Islamic Union , explained that the power in Baghdad takes steps towards marginalize the role of some political parties, confirming on the presence of sectarian tendencies.
