Minister of Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Regional Government Ashti Hawrami on Tuesday said that the Kurdistan Region may start to sell natural gas directly to Turkey within two years.

 Ashti Hawrami, Minister of Natural Resources through the Caspian Sea forum for gas in Istanbul said that : "even if no consensus was reached with Baghdad, we will go on the sale of natural gas and oil to Turkey."

 Hawrami added that "We are planning to sell ten billion cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey and Europe later in the long term."
