KURDIU (Arbil): Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaadin, Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union visited 10^th office of the party, he was received warmly by members and followers of the KIU in the area.

Then, he met with the KIU members in the area. He shed light on the current political situation in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, and he talked about the Arab Spring that changed the political system in the region.

Secretary-General announced that the time for the party’s convention is near to be held, that they have done most of preparations, he stated that he has made final decision not to candidate himself for the position.

Members of the party in the area have highly valued the role of Secretary-General to improve the KIU in the whole region.

Then the delegation went back to Sulaimanya to continue activities.
