Iraqi political parties continue their consultations to form a new government

The political blocs in the Iraqi parliament continue its meetings to search for a final form of new election law and its commission.

 Iraqi Parliament Speaker Mohammed Halbousi on Tuesday held a meeting is the second in two days, included heads of blocs and politicians in the presence and participation of the United Nations.

Halbousi said that these discussions will lead to a decision consistent with the new stage and the demands of the demonstrators.

In addition, the speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Mohammed Halbousi, addressed the President of the Republic Barham Saleh to assign a candidate for prime minister within 15 days.

Halbousi, according to the Iraqi News Agency Wednesday, demanded the President Barham Saleh, based on Article 76 of the Constitution to assign a candidate to head the government within 15 days, after the approval of the resignation of former Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi.
