Iraq ranks 12th among the world's most corrupt countries

Transparency International announced that Iraq is ranked 12th among the most corrupt countries in the world, and the countries of Syria, Somalia, North Korea and Sudan ranked first.

Transparency International published a report on corrupt countries in the world, where the report states that the countries "New Zealand and Denmark" are at the forefront of countries in the lowest proportion of corruption.

The report noted that the best region with the lowest percentage of corruption is the countries of Europe and the worst countries in the proportion of corruption is the African countries.

Iraq ranks 12th among countries in the world and 6 in Arab countries in the proportion of corruption, according to the report.
