Heat wave sweeping the Kurdistan region

Directorate of Meteorology and Seismic Monitoring, Saturday, announced that the Kurdistan region is exposed to a heat wave that will continue until next Tuesday.

"The Kurdistan region is exposed to a heat wave from Saturday and continues until Tuesday," the Directorate said in a statement, indicating that the wave was coming from the Indian Sea.

The temperature will reach 43 degrees in Erbil, Sulaymaniyah to 41, Duhok 42, Kirkuk 44, Khanaqin 49 to 50 degrees Celsius, the statement said.
