Kurdistan Alliance chooses "Abdul Rahman Mustafa" to head its list in local elections

The Kurdish parties reached an agreement during a meeting in Sulaimaniya city to choose the head of Kurdistan Alliance bloc.

The Kurdish parties have held a meeting in Sulaymaniyah earlier to to discuss participation in the elections of Iraqi provincial councils in the disputed areas through a unified list.

The Kurdish parties have decided during the meeting, to choose the former governor of Kirkuk , Abdul Rahman Mustafa as the head of Kurdistan Alliance bloc to participate in the upcoming provincial council elections.

Mustafa will be the head of the list in Kirkuk and the disputed areas, which consists of nine forces and Kurdish political parties
