Kurdistan denies its consent to hand over border crossings "completely" to Baghdad

Spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Government Safin Dizayi, on Tuesday, denied the approval of the region to hand over the border crossings to Baghdad in full.

"We are talking about the joint administration of these crossings with Baghdad," Dizayi told in a news briefing.

Dizayi said that "there is no direct delivery of the crossings in the law and instructions , but there is direct supervision by both sides ," explaining that "the Kurdistan Regional Government has already announced its readiness to work together with Baghdad."
