Head of KIU bloc: paying the salaries of the region's staff probably after the Iraqi elections

Head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc in the Iraqi Council of Representatives pointed to the possibility of paying salaries of the region's staff after the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections.

Head of the Kurdistan Islamic Union bloc in the Iraqi Council of Representatives Muthanna Amin during receiving a number of teachers in the Office of the Iraqi Parliament in the city of Halabja, said that Prime Minister Haider Abadi is not serious in payment of salaries of employees of the Kurdistan Region, stressing that Abadi is trying to exploit the crises of the region for electoral propaganda, and to limit the role of Kurdistan.

He expressed his conviction that the possibility of paying the salaries of the staff of the region after the upcoming Iraqi parliamentary elections in accordance with new agreements with the Kurdistan Region.
