The Iraqi Supreme Judicial Council discuss the problems with the Kurdistan Region courts

The Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq, Monday, with a delegation of Judicial Council of the Kurdistan region, discussed solving the problems between the courts.

A statement by the Supreme Judicial Council said that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Faik Zaidan received a judicial delegation representing the Judicial Council in the Kurdistan region in the presence of the head of the prosecution, Judge Mowafaq al-Obeidi and head of judicial supervision Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud."

He added that "the delegation included the heads of appeals courts in the region, Judge Braim Ismail Hamad, President of the Appeal Court of Erbil, Judge Jassim Jaza Jafer, President of the Appeal Court of Sulaymaniyah and Judge Mohammed Amin Hadi Hassan, head of the Appeal Court of Duhok.

Pointed out that "Zidane discussed with the visiting delegation the mechanism of work of the joint committee formed between the Supreme Judicial Council in the Center and the Supreme Judicial Council in the region on solving of judicial problems related to the work of courts throughout the country and ways to address them.
