PUK seeks to resolve candidates for the positions agreed upon

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) nominated two women to head the parliament of Kurdistan, Begard Talabani and Riwaz Faiq, after the final agreement with the Democratic Party on Monday.

The official of the Patriotic Union in Baghdad, Pola Talabani, said on Tuesday that "Begard Talabani and Rawiaz Faiq, two candidates for the presidency of parliament, and Khalid Shwani, is candidate for the post of Minister of Justice."

Talabani added that "the points of disagreement between the Patriotic Union and the Democratic Party and many other issues, were addressed during the agreement signed between the two parties, yesterday."

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) announced on Tuesday that it will hold a meeting in the next two days to resolve four files, most notably the candidate for the Kurdistan parliament speaker.

The sources said that "the leadership council of the Union will hold an important meeting during the next two days, to resolve a number of files."
