A delegation from the Parliament of Kurdistan to visit Baghdad

The committee of the disputed areas in the parliament of Kurdistan, announced Tuesday that the committee will prepare a detailed report on what the Kurdish farmers are exposed in the disputed areas between Erbil and Baghdad.

Head of the Committee Jwan Younis in a joint press conference held with a delegation of Kurdish farmers in the disputed areas in the parliament of Kurdistan, said that "the committee received requests from Kurdish farmers in the disputed areas and will be studied in detail," adding that the Committee "will prepare a report to the political leadership in the Kurdistan region and the Iraqi government and consulates of the great powers in the region. "

"We call on the political leadership and the Iraqi government to put an end to these attacks against the Kurdish farmers in those areas."

Younis also called for accelerating the implementation of Article 140 of the Constitution and the return of the Peshmerga forces to those areas, calling for clearing the way for the Kurdish farmers to harvest their crops as soon as possible".

A delegation from the Parliament of Kurdistan, on Tuesday, visits the capital Baghdad, to discuss the dues of farmers in the region.

Added that "the delegation will meet with President Barham Saleh, Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and the Minister of Trade and other bodies directly related to the dues of farmers in the Kurdistan region."
