After the head of the Erbil Provincial Council was infected with Coronavirus, eight members of the Council and a number of Council employees were infected with the virus.

Kanaan Khailani, head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party bloc in Erbil Provincial Council, announced that the head of the council, the head of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc in the council, and a number of the council’s employees were infected with Coronavirus.

He added that eight members of the Erbil Provincial Council were infected with Coronavirus, and the reason is due to the members' contact with citizens, especially the health committee, who follow the health situation of the epidemic.
