Najm al-Jubouri, Governor of Nineveh, announced to reporters that in order to reduce congestion on public roads and facilitate the movement of citizens, the work of extending the railways between Mosul and Turkey will begin in the coming days.

He added that the technical and engineering teams with the cooperation of Turkish construction companies will start work soon, and the extension of the railway between Mosul and Turkey is within the framework of assistance between Turkey and Iraq in the field of economy and investment.
