Iraq announces its position on normalization with Israel

The Iraqi Foreign Minister announced his country's position on the agreement with Israel, ruling out the Iraqi agreement with Israel, saying that his country is closely monitoring the issue of some Arab countries' agreement with Israel.

Fuad Hussein, the Iraqi Foreign Minister, during an interview with Al-Hurra TV, revealed that Iraq is closely monitoring the issue of a number of Arab countries agreeing with Israel and that Iraq is committed to the decision and recommendations of the 23rd Arab League Summit of 2012 held in Baghdad, where it described the normalization of relations with Israel as a sensitive step.

This comes at a time when both the UAE and Bahrain, last week, normalized their relations with Israel, and the President of the United States of America announced that some other countries are expected to take the same step.
