The Islamic Movement in Kurdistan postponed its conference due to Coronavirus

The Central Shura Council of the Islamic Movement in Kurdistan met today, Tuesday, October 27, 2020, and issued a statement announcing the postponement of the movement’s general conference for an unknown period due to the Coronavirus.

The Central Shura Council of the Islamic Movement in Kurdistan met today, Tuesday, and issued a statement announcing the postponement of the general conference of the movement to an unknown date, which was scheduled to be held November 1, 2020, in Erbil due to the Coronavirus, in order to protect the health of the conference members.

The statement indicated that the movement’s Shura Council, in its meeting, expressed its concern about the health situation in the Kurdistan Region, the livelihood of citizens, and the delayed payment of salaries, and called on the region’s authorities to take quick measures to overcome the problems.
