Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, on Monday, in the presence of the official of the first center of the Union in Sulaymaniyah, met with a number of youth in the city.

In a speech delivered during the meeting, Secretary-General said, "Unfortunately, the conditions of citizens in the Kurdistan region are worsening day after day in terms of living and primary services, and the exacerbation of successive crises."

"Nevertheless, the security and safety of citizens face many threats and concerns, as we witness several unfortunate events in which the simple citizen is the victim," he added, noting that "one of the government's duties is to maintain the security and safety of citizens."
