The Kurdistan Regional Electricity Ministry announced that the regional government intends to purchase 200 megawatts of electricity from Turkey.
A spokesman for the Kurdistan Regional Electricity Ministry, Umid Ahmed, announced today, Wednesday, December 30, 2020, that their ministry has prepared a contract to buy electricity from Turkey, and they are now waiting for a response from Ankara on this issue.
He added that the electricity that they intend to buy from Turkey will reach 200 megawatts, and the contract is likely to be signed after New Year.
