An official medical source in the Health Directorate of Dohuk Governorate revealed, on Wednesday, putting a person in quarantine suspected of being infected with the new strain of Coronavirus.

The source said, "The man came from Britain recently by land, and he showed signs of infection with the Coronavirus, and he may be infected with the new strain."

The source pointed out that "the Health Directorate imposed a quarantine on him and subjected him to laboratory tests," indicating that the results of the test will appear tomorrow, Thursday.

The new strain spread in Britain, and it is more dangerous than the known strain in terms of the severity of its spread.
