A delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran Consulate in Erbil visited the headquarters of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in Erbil and discussed the situation of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the region.

A delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Consulate in Erbil, consisting of Aghai Soleimani and Aghai Saadi, visited today, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, the headquarters of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, and they were received by Muhammad Hawdiani, the official of the Islamic Union's relations, and Hemn Iskandar, head of the election commission of the Islamic Union. During a meeting between the two sides, they discussed the situation of the Kurdistan Region, Iraq, and the region.

The delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran affirmed during the meeting their support for the approval of the Iraqi budget bill for 2021.
