The Iraqi Council of Ministers decided today to postpone holding early parliamentary elections to October 10, 2021.

The Iraqi Council of Ministers held a meeting today, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, with the participation of members of The Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq, and during the meeting, it was decided to hold the Iraqi early elections in November 10, 2021.

On the 17th of this month, The Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq officially called on the Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi to postpone holding the Iraqi early elections.
