The Turkish Defense Minister arrived on Monday in Baghdad, and after that, he visited the Kurdistan Region, and today he met with Kurdistan Region officials.

Kurdiu correspondent in Erbil announced that Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar met today, Tuesday, January 19, 2021, with the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, and a number of other officials.

He added that, according to the information, he is discussing during the meetings the security situation in the border areas between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey.
