Five ISIS militants were killed in an Iraqi security operation north of Baghdad, according to a local security officer on Saturday.
Police Captain Ahmed Khalaf told Anadolu Agency that a joint force from the Iraqi army and the Hashd al-Shaabi (Popular Mobilization) Force shot dead five ISIS suicide bombers in al-Tarmia district, north of Baghdad.
He said three members of the Hashd al-Shaabi were killed and two others injured in the operation.
According to the police officer, the dead militants were responsible for staging attacks against Iraqi security forces in al-Tarmia.
