Kurdistan region decides to reopen mosques during the month of Ramadan

The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Kurdistan Region announced, on Sunday, the reopening of places of worship, including mosques, during the month of Ramadan, after being closed as a result of special restrictions to prevent the Coronavirus.

The ministry stated in a statement that the restrictions included obliging worshipers to bring the prayer rug with them, wearing a medical mask, and that the Friday sermon does not exceed 30 minutes, and that the Isha and Tarawih prayers do not exceed 35 minutes.
