The Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Region provides an explanation about the black fungus disease and announces that the disease is not dangerous like Corona.

The Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Saman Barzanji, announced in a press conference today, Thursday, June 3, 2021, that the black fungus disease is not as dangerous as Corona, but we must be careful, and unlike Corona disease, the black fungus disease is not transmitted from one person to another.

He indicated that black fungus disease is not dangerous for people who do not have a chronic disease and whose immune system is not weak.

He added that black fungus disease is only dangerous for people who have chronic diseases, such as heart disease, diabetes, kidney disease, cancer, and people whose immune system is weak.
