Kurdistan Parliament in a statement rejects the option of war and hopes to banish the war of the conflicting parties from the border areas of the Kurdistan Region.

Kurdistan Parliament announced, during a statement, that we express our sorrow for the martyrdom of the five members of the Peshmerga forces, which started in a statement by the Ministry of Peshmerga that they were martyred in an ambush by the Kurdistan Workers Party.

Parliament also announced that they reject the option of war in all forms and hope to banish the war of the conflicting parties from the border areas of the Kurdistan Region and that everyone should respect the sovereignty of the Kurdistan Region and not provide a pretext for war and attacks by states.

The Kurdistan Parliament’s statement called on the Kurdistan Workers’ Party and Turkey to banish their war and clashes from the lands of the Kurdistan Region and to take the option of peace and a political solution and to protect the sovereignty of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region.
