Ministry of Peshmerga calls on allies to help for stopping PKK "violations"

The Ministry of Peshmerga in the Kurdistan Region called on Tuesday, on the country's allies to help stop the violations of the PKK elements in the region.

The ministry said in a statement: "This morning, in the Sharanish area in Zakho district, and again and in continuation of the painful incidents that occurred during the past days, a member of the Peshmerga forces was killed, called Radwan Muhammad Ali."

Added: "During the past three days, this is the second time that undesirable incidents have occurred in this way, we in the Ministry of Peshmerga strongly condemn and denounce such actions that are ultimately in the interest of the enemies and haters of our people."

The statement called on all allies and the Iraqi government, to "play their role in stopping the violations of the PKK, and protecting the border areas in the region in cooperation with the Peshmerga forces."

Pointed out that the Peshmerga forces "will be at the level of the great responsibility entrusted to them in protecting the cities, villages, and land of the Kurdistan Region, and preserving its gains from the government, parliament, and institutions."
