The Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq announced the failure of its office in Kirkuk in the preparations for the upcoming Iraqi elections.
Jumana Gulawi, the spokeswoman for the Independent High Electoral Commission of Iraq, announced in a press statement that their office in Kirkuk had failed in its preparations for the upcoming Iraqi elections scheduled for next October.
She indicated that after their visit to the office, they felt that there were sectarian influences in their work, so they had to change their members and form another body that respects the voices and will of all components of the city.
