On Saturday, two brothers were killed in a shooting incident north of Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region.

On Saturday morning, the Erbil Police said in a statement that two brothers, Sarwar Soran, 28, and Raber Soran, 18, were killed in a shooting incident.

It reported that the accident took place at 8:50 a.m. on Friday/Saturday night, in the village of Gazna in Bahrka district, where the two brothers live (without giving details about the accident).

The Erbil police confirmed that its detachments rushed to the scene of the accident and launched an investigation.
