The United States provides $155 million to Iraq

The US ambassador to Iraq revealed the results of the strategic dialogue between Baghdad and Washington and announced that the United States had provided 155 million dollars to Iraq.

Matthew Tueller, the US ambassador to Iraq, announced in a press statement that Iraq and the United States agreed during the strategic dialogue to strengthen and develop strong joint relations. It also revealed that after the strategic dialogue, they prepared a proposal that includes the results of the dialogue in the economic and social field and a number of other fields

He added that after the dialogue between Washington and Baghdad, the United States provided 155 million dollars to Iraq for the reconstruction of liberated areas and displaced Iraqis, and 60 million dollars for the health sector to confront the Corona pandemic, and provided 500 doses of vaccine to Iraq against the Coronavirus.
