The Anti-Narcotics Directorate announced the arrest of 6 suspects with 35,000 packets of narcotic pills.

The Anti-Narcotics Directorate announced in a statement that after careful follow-up and monitoring by the General Directorate of Anti-Narcotics on August 3, 2021 in the city of Erbil, they were able to arrest 6 suspects and seize 35,474 pieces of narcotic pills.

The statement indicated that the accused are under arrest in accordance with Article 25 of the Drugs Act.
