During the first eight months of the current year, 37,000 citizens of the Kurdistan Region migrated outside the country.

Ari Jalal, head of the "Lutka" Foundation for Migrant Affairs, announced in a press statement that according to statistics during the past eight months, 37,250 thousand citizens of the Kurdistan Region migrated outside the country illegally.

The head of "Lutka" Foundation, in a statement to Kurdistan News, added that 10 immigrants died, and 12 immigrants are missing.
