Erbil police announced the arrest of a person on charges of counterfeiting US dollars, and he was in possession of 25 thousand counterfeit dollars.

Erbil police spokesman, Hoger Aziz, announced in a statement to Kurdiu that the Erbil police forces were able to arrest an Arab citizen who was in possession of 25 thousand forged US dollars.

Erbil police spokesman added that their forces managed during the nine months at the beginning of this year to arrest eight groups of 26 people who were dealing in counterfeit currencies.
