The Health Committee of the Kurdistan Parliament announced in a statement that the cases of Coronavirus in the Kurdistan Region are increasing and that there are great pressures on hospitals and health institutions, adding that the percentage of people who received the vaccine is few and not at the required level.

The committee has warned of the emergence of a new wave of the virus in the Kurdistan Region and calls on citizens to expedite the vaccination.
