Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahuddin Muhammad Bahaauddin, received, on Sunday, the Turkish Consul General in the Kurdistan Region, Hakan Karacay.

The two sides discussed the political situation in the Kurdistan region, Iraq, and the region, as well as the results of the legislative elections that were held on the tenth of last October, as well as the ongoing efforts to form the next Iraqi government.

Secretary-General stressed the need for everyone to unite for the security and stability of Iraq and to serve the citizens, stressing that the stability of Iraq serves the region in general.
