Kirkuk police announced the killing of a prominent leader of ISIS in Rashad area.

Kirkuk police announced in a statement today that the forces of the Fifth Division of the Federal Police in the village of Abu Shahma in the Al-Rashad area during a military operation managed to kill a prominent leader of ISIS.

In the same area, Iraqi warplanes bombed a number of ISIS strongholds, and on the ground, the Iraqi security forces launched a military operation to pursue ISIS elements.
