The international coalition against ISIS has announced the arrest of a senior ISIS leader in Syria

The international coalition against ISIS announced Thursday the arrest of a senior leader of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) during an airdrop in Syria.

"The arrested leader is an expert in making bombs and is one of the most important leaders of ISIL," the coalition said in a statement.

"The operation was carried out without any casualties among civilians and the international coalition, and no damage was caused to aircraft and military equipment," they said.
