The first death from cholera recorded in Kirkuk
On Tuesday, the Iraqi Ministry of Health announced the registration of the first death from "cholera" disease in the country.
The ministry's spokesman, Saif Al-Badr, said, "During the past 24 hours, the ministry recorded 17 new cases of cholera, bringing the total number to 76 cases recorded for this year 2022."
He added: "The Kirkuk governorate recorded the first death from the disease today."
