A leader of the Fatah coalition said the name of the prime ministerial candidate will be announced soon and Hadi Amiri is a strong candidate.

Abbas Zamli, the leader of the Fatah coalition in the Iraqi parliament, said that Hadi Amiri is a strong candidate for the post of prime minister and has been accepted by the leader of the Sadr Movement.

Saleem Ankabi, a member of the Fatah coalition, said the name of the prime ministerial candidate will be announced soon and the nomination of Mustafa Kazemi for the second term is a weak possibility.

"There is no choice but to form a service government and the next prime minister should be courageous in making decisions," he said.
