Pentagon spokeswoman Sabrina Singh told a news conference: The ceasefire between Turkey and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continues in northern Syria.

Earlier this month, Washington brokered an initial ceasefire between Turkey and the SDF after clashes between pro-Turkish groups and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in several parts of northern and eastern Syria.

Earlier, on December 19, a Turkish Defense Ministry official said there was no ceasefire agreement between Ankara and the Syrian Democratic Forces.
