The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, received a delegation from the Justice and Charity Movement headed by Ahmed Al-Shammari and his accompanying delegation in Erbil on Wednesday.

The visiting delegation expressed its happiness with the success of the ninth general conference of the KIU, the re-election of Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin as Secretary-General of the union, and the election of the new body of the leadership council.

In another part of the meeting, the delegation praised the role of the Kurdistan Islamic Union in the Kurdish and Iraqi arenas, stressing the need to maintain relations between the two parties.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Dr. Hadi Ali, and members of the Political Bureau, Dr. Salahaddin Babiker and Dr. Mohammed Hawdiani.
