The Secretary-General of the Kurdistan Islamic Union, Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin, received a delegation from the Kurdistan Communist Party, headed by the party's Secretary, Dr. Kawa Mahmoud, and his accompanying delegation, in Erbil on Wednesday.

The visiting delegation expressed its happiness with the success of the ninth general conference of the union, the re-election of Salahaddin Mohammed Bahaaddin as Secretary-General of the union, and the election of the new body of the leadership council.

In another part of the meeting, the two sides discussed the political developments in the Kurdistan Region, Iraq and the region, and emphasized the relations between the two sides.

The meeting was attended by the head of the follow-up body, Dr. Mohammed Ahmed, and a member of the political bureau, Dr. Mohammed Hawdiani, from the Kurdistan Islamic Union.
