Iranian Supreme Leader: Popular Mobilization forces are one of the most important structures in Iraq and must be protected.

The newspaper (jwan) about Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia Sudani's meeting with Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei in Tehran on Wednesday said Khamenei told Sudani that "Popular Mobilization forces is one of the most important components of the force in Iraq, so it must be protected and strengthened more than ever,".

It is said that The Supreme Leader's comments contradict Shiite sources who said that before Sudan's visit to Tehran, Iranian Revolutionary Guards Quds Corps commander Ismail Qaani met with Shiite armed groups in Baghdad and warned them that the Sudanese government is under US pressure, so some of the groups will be dissolved".
