The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) Council of Ministers will hold an extraordinary meeting today and the Kurdish representatives in Baghdad will attend the meeting of the Council of Ministers

Saturday, December 11, 2025, the Kurdistan Regional Government holds an extraordinary meeting, and the Kurdish ministers in the federal government and the heads of the Kurdish factions in the Iraqi parliament are scheduled to participate, but the factions of the Kurdistan Islamic Union will not participate.

The extraordinary meeting, which is scheduled to be held at the Council of Ministers, is dedicated to the issue of salaries and financial entitlements of the Kurdistan Region in the Iraqi government.

Meanwhile, Dr. Muthanna Amin told Kurdiu: We are tired of these meetings and will not go to a meeting where the agenda is not clear, adding that the Kurdistan Regional Government does not tell us the truth, it creates crisis after crisis and starves the citizens of the region.

He added that the Kurdistan Regional Government does not disclose revenues and can not reach a concrete long-term agreement with the Iraqi government.
